With almost a decade of pure dedication to the LF3 & LF4 platform. Our all new Black Series Max Performance Downpipes are here! Spawned by the successor to the ATS-V, the CT4-V Blackwing, we have worked hard, heavy & tirelessly to bring our brand new innovation to this amazing community & platform!
Years ago the “H-Pipe” was introduced to help mitigate the terrible rasp/rattle with the ATS-V & CTS V-Sport while paired with aftermarket downpipes. Yet, this "H-Pipe" feature creates air-reversion & can never completely eliminate exhaust back-pressure on the turbos, ultimately, resulting in the loss of maximum performance. As well, the “H-Pipe” also creates highly problematic & undesirable heat transfer between the "H-Pipe" & the transmission lines. Other companies selling "H-Pipe" Downpipes specifically for the CT4-V Blackwing have had numerous customers burn through their transmission lines & even catch on fire as a result of the unneeded "H-Pipe" for the CT4-V Blackwing. When RP USA began designing our Black Series Pipes we were pleased to actually find out that GM updated a small part inside the turbos on the interior wastegate arm, that ultimately caused the "rasp/rattle" found in the ATS-V & CTS V-Sport! So, we quickly learned that the "H-Pipe" design was not even needed for the CT4-V Blakcwing!
That allowed us to focus on designing & building our brand new "Apex Resonators" for our Black Series Downpipes! As for the ATS-V & CTS V-Sport, we were already in the process of designing our Anti-Rasp Clips (ARCs), to help fix the small part/pieces inside the turbos on the wastegate arm, that GM updated for the Blackwing! Our proprietary ARCs came in clutch-time, allowing us to produce our Black Series Max Performance Downpipes for all three models!
At RP USA, we wanted all the LF3/4 twin turbo performance engagement as possible, while overriding any potential "rasp/rattle"! All to create the ultimate LF3/4 Downpipes System! This feat journeyed us down a long path of completely redesigning & refining our well-known truly functional resonators. Years ago RP USA was the first to introduce our "Barrel Resonators" to the H-Pipe System (while other companies followed, only to provide functionless pseudo-resonators to this very day). After multiple versions/iterations of all new & heavily improved resonator designs, we finally came out of that long hard fought battle with absolutely beastly resonators! Our all new Black Series Apex Resonators create a slightly deeper thicker tone, all while free-flowing air into our new “anti-reversion pulse chambers” that perfectly control the car’s idle as well as low & mid range throttle zones. Yet, once you hit WOT— the turbo’s exhaust will blast air straight through— quicker & faster than ever before! Eliminating all air-reversion & back-pressure! At WOT, you will hear your LF3 or LF4 engine engage into a vicious screaming pull, akin to many twin turbo European super cars in our opinions!

Our revolutionary ARCs get installed inside your turbos between a small space along the interior wastegate arm system!
